What it does

Follow-builders is a “skill” you install in an AI agent (Claude Code or OpenClaw). It fetches a central daily feed of content from 26 hand-picked AI builders on X, six podcasts, and two official blogs, then has your agent remix it all into a digest delivered via Telegram, Discord, email, or in-chat. Setup is conversational — you tell the agent when you want it and in what language, and it handles the rest. No API keys for the content feed; only local storage for delivery credentials.

The interesting bit

The curation is the product. The README is explicit about the philosophy — “follow people who build products and have original opinions, not influencers who regurgitate information” — and the source list is locked, updated centrally. You can tweak how summaries sound by editing plain-English prompt files (summarize-podcast.md, digest-intro.md, etc.), which turns prompt engineering into a user-facing feature rather than a hidden implementation detail.

Key highlights

  • 26 curated X/Twitter accounts, 6 podcasts, 2 blogs; feed updated daily by the maintainer
  • Supports English, Chinese, or bilingual output
  • Customizable entirely through conversation or by editing markdown prompt files
  • No content API keys needed; one HTTP request fetches the central feed
  • Delivery via Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, email, or in-chat

Caveats

  • Requires an AI agent (Claude Code or OpenClaw); not a standalone tool
  • The source list is curated centrally — you cannot add your own builders without forking or requesting changes
  • “ClawhHub” distribution is listed as “coming soon”; manual git clone is the current install path

Verdict

Worth a look if you already live in Claude Code or OpenClaw and want a low-friction way to stay current without drowning in AI Twitter. Skip it if you prefer rolling your own RSS feeds or want control over who counts as a “builder.”
