Showboat is a tool for AI agents to build markdown documents mixing commentary, executable code blocks, and captured output. These documents serve as both readable documentation and reproducible proof of work, where a verifier can re-execute code blocks to confirm outputs match. It was designed with Claude Code in mind and supports multiple installation methods including Go binaries, PyPI packages, and direct execution via uvx.
