A zero-dependency gateway that turns Qoder accounts into an OpenAI-compatible API

It wraps Qoder's domestic and international editions in one self-hosted proxy that speaks OpenAI, Codex, and Claude Code protocols — with account pooling and anti-risk-control engineering baked in.

What it does

Qoder2API-Hub is a self-hosted reverse-proxy gateway that exposes Qoder (Alibaba’s agentic coding service, in both its qoder.com.cn and qoder.com flavors) as standard API endpoints. It speaks three protocols: OpenAI Chat Completions, the Responses API (so Codex CLI works), and Anthropic Messages (so Claude Code works). Behind the endpoint it maintains separate account pools per region, routes by model, rotates accounts, and cools them down on failure.

The interesting bit

The engineering effort went into looking like the official client: outbound identity is aligned with the real client’s fingerprint, COSY signing and AES/RSA are implemented in pure Python, and there’s a per-account concurrency gate plus request pacing. The whole thing runs on the Python standard library alone — zero external dependencies, which is almost a party trick given it reimplements crypto primitives.

Key highlights

  • Dual-region account pools with automatic region selection per model, session affinity, and failover cooldown
  • Login without the client: OAuth device authorization, PAT import, or importing credentials from an already-logged-in local client
  • Auto daily check-in for Credits activity and scheduled token refresh
  • Web dashboard for accounts, usage, request logs, rate-limit guardrails, and one-click config for Codex/Claude Code/OpenCode/Crush
  • /health endpoint surfaces queueing, rate-limit, and rejection telemetry from upstream

Caveats

  • Unofficial and ToS-adjacent: the README itself restricts it to research and personal use of your own legitimately authorized accounts, no resale or heavy concurrency abuse
  • The dashboard ships with a default password (admin), so change it before exposing it anywhere
  • The docs candidly note that multi-account setups can still hit upstream queueing — more accounts isn’t a magic fix

Verdict

Worth a look if you already have Qoder accounts and want to drive them from Codex, Claude Code, or any OpenAI-compatible client through one tidy gateway. If you don’t use Qoder, there’s nothing here for you — it’s glue code, but unusually well-engineered glue.
