INSIGHT is an autonomous AI system designed for medical research. It employs a boss agent that decomposes research objectives into tasks and a worker agent that executes them, storing results in Llama Index. Workers integrate with PubMed and MyGene APIs to retrieve biomedical data, and can execute Python code. The system supports resuming interrupted research runs and querying accumulated findings via a dedicated interface.
