A coding agent that lives on your phone — no root, no Termux
DSH Go runs the DeepSeek Harness engine inside an Android app, or remote-controls the copy on your desktop.

What it does
DSH Go is an unofficial, community-built Android client for DeepSeek Harness, written in Flutter/Dart. It ships a bundled Linux environment (Ubuntu, Node.js, the DSH runtime) via PRoot, so the agent runs natively on the phone without root or Termux. Alternatively, it connects over SSH or DSH Remote to the DSH instance on your computer or server, and you can switch between local and remote mid-conversation. Model requests still go to whatever provider you configure — the app is the harness, not the model.
The interesting bit
The phone-control feature: with permissions granted, the local engine can read your screen, tap, and type — with three confirmation levels, and payments, passwords, and verification codes are always handed back to you. Also, there’s a desktop pet (Deepy or “鲸娘”) that types while the agent works and does a backflip when it finishes. Priorities are clearly in order.
Key highlights
- Local DSH engine on-device via PRoot — no root, no Termux, Android 8+
- Remote mode over SSH or DSH Remote to a desktop/server DSH
- Interrupt and queue messages mid-generation; finished process output collapses to one line
- Share links with end-to-end encryption; recipients replay the conversation in a browser
- Native UI and web view of the same conversation, one-tap switch; full English interface
Caveats
- DSH Remote is limited: image attachments only, no in-app web view, plugin management is on/off only, no DS Bot or conversation log export
- Phone control needs accessibility permissions (and Shizuku or self-connected ADB for the do-not-disturb mode, Android 14+)
- Anonymous usage stats are on by default; APK sideload only, no Play Store build, no 32-bit ARM
Verdict
Worth a look if you already run DeepSeek Harness and want it in your pocket or as a phone-side remote. If you’re not in the DSH ecosystem, this is a companion app, not a standalone agent — and iOS/HarmonyOS users are still waiting on the author’s star-count-fueled porting schedule.
