A JARVIS-shaped GUI for the CLI agents you already pay for
Capri wraps Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity in a neon Windows desktop app so you can boss your PC around in plain English.
What it does Capri is a Windows desktop agent layer that sits on top of AI coding assistants. You describe a goal — clean up a folder, fix a bug, summarize PDFs — and it routes the task to your chosen engine (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, or a custom adapter), plans the steps, and executes them with file, shell and web tools. You bring your own account or API key; Capri supplies the body, the brain is rented.
The interesting bit It’s essentially a friendly face over tools that normally demand terminal fluency — the value is the approval gate, where you review and confirm sensitive actions before they touch your files. The engine router also means you can swap assistants mid-workflow instead of marrying one vendor.
Key highlights
- Native Windows 10+ app with an installer; no terminal required
- Works with Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity, plus custom adapters for others
- Permission modes: ask-before-acting, auto, or read-only, with folder scoping
- Handles files, projects, code execution and recurring automations
- MIT-licensed, open source, fan-made Edgerunners aesthetic
Caveats
- Windows-only for now; macOS and Linux are roadmap items, not shipping
- The installer triggers SmartScreen warnings since it’s not widely downloaded yet
- Your data goes to whichever AI provider you connect, under their terms
Verdict Worth a look if you use these agents but flinch at the terminal, or want a unified desktop front-end for several of them. If you’re happy in a CLI — or not on Windows — there’s little here for you yet.
