OpenSquirrel was a native GPU-rendered interface for managing AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode. It handled automatic sub-agent delegation, remote machine targeting via SSH, and persistent agent sessions across multiple tools. The author ultimately archived the project, concluding that the terminal already served this purpose adequately and that delegation could be handled more simply through prompt instructions.
