LayerFS is a FUSE-based filesystem written in Rust that gives each AI agent a complete writable workspace layered over shared committed history without copying the base. Agents work in parallel, commit only what changed as deduplicated checkpoints, and can branch, rewind, or merge. It is designed as infrastructure for agent workflows, with a companion tool called DSH.
