Remodex is a local-first open-source bridge and iOS application that enables controlling OpenAI Codex from an iPhone while the AI runs on a Mac. It features end-to-end encrypted pairing, live streaming of AI responses, subagent management via slash commands, structured planning mode, git operations from the phone, and reasoning controls. The project includes a macOS background daemon for trusted auto-reconnect and supports self-hosted relay setups.
