Celesto is a Python library and runtime that gives AI agents their own isolated virtual machine for executing code, browsing the web, and interacting with desktop applications. Each sandbox starts in roughly 500 ms and retains files and state across sessions, providing a stronger security boundary than running agent code as a local process. It can be used locally during development or via Celesto Cloud for remote and production deployments, and ships with OpenMuse, an open-source computer-use agent built on top of it.
