EQTransformer provides a hierarchical neural network architecture trained on global seismic data to simultaneously perform earthquake signal detection and phase arrival time picking. The package includes modules for downloading seismic data, preprocessing waveforms, running inference with pre-trained models, and building/testing new models. It also estimates model uncertainties alongside predictions.
