A personal AI agent that lives in your Cloudflare account, not someone else's
Talorys is a single-user AI assistant — chat, memory, tasks, reminders — that deploys entirely into your own Cloudflare free tier with no third-party server in sight.

What it does
Talorys is a self-hosted personal assistant: streaming chat, durable memory, tasks, notes, projects, and scheduled reminders with push notifications. Everything runs inside your own Cloudflare account — a React frontend on Pages, a private API Worker behind a service binding, and one SQLite-backed Durable Object holding all your data. The model is Workers AI’s @cf/zai-org/glm-4.7-flash, so inference also stays within Cloudflare.
The interesting bit
The architecture is the quiet star: the agent Worker has no public URL at all (workers_dev: false, preview_urls: false), and the browser only ever talks to your *.pages.dev site. Auth happens in the Worker, not the frontend. Reminders run on Durable Object alarms, so nothing needs to stay awake. And when your daily AI allocation runs out, tasks, notes, memories and reminders keep working — the assistant degrades to a very good to-do app.
Key highlights
- Memory is inspectable: view, edit, delete facts; only relevant memories go into each prompt, with optional semantic recall (off by default).
- Memory history handles facts that change — tell it you sold your car and it asks whether the old fact is now past tense.
- End-to-end encrypted Web Push for reminders, even with the app closed (iOS needs Home Screen install first).
- No telemetry, no accounts, no signup — one owner password set at install time, hashed with PBKDF2 locally.
- Backup/import is treated as untrusted input: imported automations arrive paused, and re-importing the same file is harmless.
Caveats
- Free-tier quotas are real: daily Workers AI Neuron allocation, request limits — chat pauses when exhausted and resumes after the daily reset.
- Usage estimates in the panel are static-rate approximations, not your actual Cloudflare bill.
- Strictly single-user by design; if you wanted a team assistant, this is the wrong repo.
Verdict
If you already have a Cloudflare account and want a genuinely private AI assistant without operating a server, this is about as clean as that gets. If you need multi-user, arbitrary models, or zero Cloudflare involvement, look elsewhere.
