SamGeo provides tools to apply Meta’s Segment Anything Model to satellite imagery and geospatial raster data. It offers an API for automatic and interactive segmentation of geospatial images, enabling tasks such as building footprint extraction, land cover classification, and object detection in aerial or satellite photos. The package can be used standalone or integrated as a plugin within QGIS.
