Vibing Steampunk implements a bridge between SAP’s ADT (ABAP Development Tools) APIs and the Model Context Protocol, enabling AI assistants to work with ABAP and AMDP through natural language or a DSL. It supports reading and writing code, debugging, deployment, running tests, and inspecting system artifacts such as MIME repository files, cluster tables, dumps, and application logs. It targets SAP systems from release 7.50 upward with ADT enabled, with a compat command reporting which features are available per system.
