What it does

NotFair is a Claude Code plugin that wires your AI agent directly into Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Search Console. It audits campaigns for wasted spend, creative fatigue, and keyword bloat, then surfaces specific fixes—like pausing a zero-conversion keyword or adding negative search terms. For SEO, it crawls your site, diagnoses ranking drops, and can rewrite meta tags, headings, and structured data if it has repo access.

The interesting bit

The unusual part is the weekly review loop: after you approve changes, Claude scores its own recent decisions as wins, losses, or too-new-to-judge, building a feedback cycle that most agency retainers lack. It also includes a dedicated geo-optimizer skill that rewrites content specifically to be cited by AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Caveats

• The project recently renamed itself from Toprank to NotFair (v0.24.0), and the runtime state directory still lives under ~/.toprank/, so the transition is incomplete
• Meta Ads mutations route through dedicated tools, but operations outside that surface punt you back to the native Meta Ads Manager rather than improvising—a safe choice, but the agent can’t handle every edge case
• SEO code changes only ship automatically if the agent has access to your repository; otherwise you’re back to copy-paste

Verdict

Grab it if you run paid acquisition or SEO for a living and already live in Claude Code. Skip it if you expect a fully autonomous agent—this is more of a very opinionated analyst that occasionally files pull requests.
