iMCP provides Model Context Protocol (MCP) access to native macOS functionality including Calendar, Contacts, Messages, Reminders, Maps, and Location services. It runs as a local server that AI clients such as Claude Desktop can connect to, enabling AI assistants to read and write system data on behalf of the user. The project targets developers building AI-augmented workflows that need access to personal data on the user’s machine.
