DeepPiCar is an educational project that builds a physical, self-driving robotic car using TensorFlow and computer vision. It implements lane following, traffic sign detection, and people detection using convolutional neural networks and transfer learning. The system runs on a Raspberry Pi with a SunFounder PiCar-V kit, leveraging Google’s Edge TPU co-processor for accelerated inference.
