This repository is a Home Assistant custom component (HACS) that integrates with the Frigate NVR system. Frigate provides real-time AI object detection (people, vehicles, etc.) on video streams, and this integration exposes that functionality as native Home Assistant entities. It provides media browsers, camera entities for live views and snapshots, sensor entities for FPS metrics, and switch entities to control recording, detection, and snapshot features. Multiple Frigate instances are supported.
