Every stroke is a function: art that renders identically forever

anidoodle turns illustration, animation and even film scores into deterministic TypeScript, so the same source redraws the same picture on every machine.

What it does

anidoodle is a creative-coding toolkit, delivered as a skill for agents like Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build. It produces illustrations, drawing timelapses, launch films, explainers and interactive web art across 32 hand-drawn styles — pencil and watercolour, woodcut, sumi-e, pixel art, embroidery, risograph and more. Because every mark is code, the same source renders the same picture at any size, on any machine, forever.

The interesting bit

The determinism extends to audio: scores are composed as data, not recordings, with 21 music vocabularies the model composes from. A music.mjs check tool even rejects scores that sound too much like known pieces. Each style also ships a film of its picture being drawn in the order a real artist in that medium would work — watercolour goes pencil first, washes light to dark.

Key highlights

  • 32 styles, each with its own mark-making logic — from stipple density to a single unbroken engraved spiral
  • Launch-video kit that cuts product films in four aspect ratios, with captions, sync checks and motion blur
  • Interactive web art as a small ES module with a custom element, no framework, reduced-motion and keyboard paths
  • Optional 373 MB sound pack adds sampled Steinway, harp, marimba and timpani; scores play unchanged without it
  • Style matching from a reference image — it borrows the hand, not the picture

Caveats

  • The sound pack is a hefty download and requires a separate fetch step
  • It’s agent-first: the value comes from pairing it with a model that reads skills, not from hand-writing everything yourself

Verdict

Worth a look if you want brand-consistent visuals, launch films or scored animation generated as reviewable code. If you want a general-purpose drawing library or a traditional animation timeline, this is a different animal.
