Your agent can now direct, score, and edit its own launch film
huashu-motion turns a coding agent into a one-person film studio: it writes the film as code, composes the music, and takes frame-level notes from you.

What it does
Tell Claude Code or Codex “make a 30-second launch film for my product” and huashu-motion takes over: it reads your product, pitches three creative directions, writes the whole film, composes a score, and opens a browser-based editor. Unhappy with a frame? Click it, type what’s wrong, and the agent fixes only that spot — the comment carries the timestamp, scene, and the element’s location in the source. Every film is just an index.html built with GSAP, Canvas, Three.js, or SVG. No video-generation models involved; every frame is code and time.
The interesting bit
The “director rules” aren’t vibes — the author measured 21 real launch films (Apple, Nothing, Linear, Vercel…) with FFmpeg for cut points, beats, loudness, and energy curves, and catalogued 20 motion languages from 142 high-engagement films. The agent also composes in ABC notation (plain-text sheet music) before animating, so scene cuts land on beats, played back through real instrument samples — all generated locally, no paid APIs.
Key highlights
- Point-to-edit: click a frame, leave a note; the agent zooms into that exact frame and patch, changes only that, and refreshes the preview in place. Full undo history.
- Renders by driving your existing Chrome in parallel across CPU cores — a 30-second film in roughly 12–15 seconds on a 14-core Mac.
- Ships with 20 motion languages, 10 templates, 23 sound effects, 27 fonts, and fallback music directions for 12 product categories.
om checkandom qacatch cropped text, dead frames, and hard cuts before delivery; the skill insists the agent actually watches the film at normal speed.- Works with cheaper models too — a demo film was made with DeepSeek V4.1 Flash for about ¥1.95.
Caveats
- Only tested on macOS; Codex’s sandbox blocks local preview and browser access, needing manual approval.
- Requires Node 22+, Chrome, and FFmpeg; real instrument samples (~55MB) and Chinese voice-over support are optional extras.
Verdict
If you’d rather ship a launch video than fight a timeline editor, this is a genuinely clever use of agent skills. If you need photoreal footage or licensed music beds, it’s not that — it’s motion graphics, done in code, done well.
