This project demonstrates two AI agents using ElevenLabs text-to-speech that recognize when they’re talking to another AI agent and switch to ggwave, an ultrasonic data-over-sound protocol, for more efficient communication. The system handles agent identification, protocol negotiation, and data transmission through audio. It won first place at the 11labs x a16z international hackathon and has been covered by Forbes, TechCrunch, and The Independent.
