II-Researcher is an open-source framework for building research agents that perform deep web searches and generate comprehensive answers. It integrates with search providers like Tavily and SerpAPI, supports multiple scraping methods, and offers configurable LLM models with multi-step reasoning and reflection capabilities. The framework supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) for extensibility and has been benchmarked on the Frames dataset achieving 84.12% accuracy with DeepSeek-R1-0528.
