FSRS4Anki replaces Anki’s built-in scheduler with a machine-learning-optimized spaced repetition algorithm. The system includes two components: a scheduler that determines optimal review intervals and an optimizer that uses deep learning to analyze review history and find parameters that best fit individual memory patterns. The optimizer adapts to each user’s learning behavior to improve long-term retention.
