Your AI chats, finally worth copying

What it does CtxPort is a Manifest V3 browser extension that copies entire AI conversations as structured Markdown. It works across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Doubao, and even GitHub issues and PRs. Every copy produces a “Context Bundle” — Markdown with frontmatter metadata (source, URL, date, message count) so the receiving tool knows what it’s getting.

The interesting bit The sidebar copy feature: hover over a conversation in the platform’s sidebar and copy it without opening it. Grabbing five conversations for a project brief means five hovers and five clicks, no page loads. The architecture is also tidy — each platform is a self-contained plugin adapter, so adding a new site is a contained job, not a rewrite.

Caveats

• Not yet on the Chrome Web Store — the README says it’s coming, so today you build from source
• Firefox support is still on the roadmap, so Chromium-only for now

Verdict If you regularly shuttle context between AI tools or archive chats into notes, this is the clipboard upgrade you’ve been hand-rolling. If you live in one chat tool and never leave, skip it.
